Besides the cracked bumper as you can see in the picture. Nice rims, stereo with remote and a GAS SIPPER!It runs and drives good also. But the automatic transmission has a little ´kick´ to it.. Like a forward jerk/grind when you start to take off on drive.After that passes, it GOES!. I don´t know what could be causing it, but we have drove it as far as Tacoma and up to Bellingham from Mt. The pictures below show what we did to turn this standard family van into a fantastic camping van. Homemade, extremely sturdy bed platform topped with carpet, with tons of storage room underneath for all your camping items (normal tupperware/storage bins fit perfectly underneath too). Also included would be the futon mattress pictured. The normal bench seats (2) are also part of this deal. Details: I am selling my 1992 vw jetta gl. It is 4 door, 5-speed, sun roof, cd player. It has about 170,000 miles. It´s 1.8 .. apparently it has the Digifant 1 - california computer. It runs pretty well other than the loud exhaust that needs welding or just to be replaced at one spot. It also needs new rotors I think on the front driver´s side. The body is pretty nice...It has a few scratches... but no major damage. The bumper needs to be better secured. It also has problems starting when it is warm sometimes, but I have figured out how to get it going by gassing it slowly at a certain point when it is turning over. This car has character but still a strong runner and has been good to me! I am selling it because I am leaving for 5 months and won´t need it.
