Details: This car has got some issues, that is why I am selling for significantly less than they go for. It needs new brake pads, a water pump (most likely unless it is a hose) and the frame is starting to rust. Also, although diesel engines can go for 500K, the other components are older as it has 216,000 miles on it. The blue book value for this car in FAIR condition is over 2K, so I guess I am still offering it for a fair price. It is still on the road and my neighbor wants it and thinks it will be fine for years to come. At about 55 mpg on the highway I am loath to let it go, but my wife no longer wants to be seen driving it to the schools she teaches at. It is a turbo diesel and can drive close to 600 miles before needing a refill (about a 12 gallon tank).Two more issues I forgot to list at first:it has a very slight fuel leak that hand motors told us can be left alone (part to fix it would cost 2K, and when driving it only drips slightly--again they said it is not a big deal) and it may need a front strut or wheel alignment (not sure).Home number is 802-823-0293, please only call if serious, and before 9PM as I have small children and a small home.
