Details: This is a 1957 Volkswagen Rat Rod. It is a hiboy with no fenders. It has the oval window, and a convertible, roll back top that is new. All glass is good. No breaks just a small bullit hole type on the right front windshield. The paint is new black satin with Von Dutch pinstriping and Big Daddy Roth Grafics done by Chad Scheres. The motor is a 1971 1600 CC with a piston kit which would make it a 1641cc. I can not verify that as I was told by the previous owner that the kit had been installed. The motor has dual weber Carbs with dual port heads and manifold. The rearend is stock with reversed Ford wheels and Coker White wall Tire Cheater Slicks. The front has 6:00x16 white wall tires by Coker that are bias belted and Ford Reversed rims. The front end is a So-Cal kit that has hair pins, a 6 inch tubular dropped axel, with Wilwood Disc brakes. Also Hotrod headlights and MC turn signals in the front. On the rear is Harley Davidson taillights with turnsignals. There is a MOON style 10 gallon aluminum gas tank in the front and the gas is pushed with an electric fuel pump. This car is street legal with horn, windshield wipers, turn signals, emergency brake, tachometer, and all lights work. There is no speedometer. I always used my GPS for the speedometer. The door panels are new front and rear. There is no headliner. The seats front and rear need to be upholstered if that is the direction you want to go. I have cloth leopard skin seat covers for the front and a Mexican blanket for the rear. This is a 12 volt car and the battery is under the rear seat. This is a fun car that draws attention where ever you go. It has won several trophys at local car shows. Nothing like it here in town. $11,999 or OBO will get you into this very nice 1957 Volkswagen Ratrod. May take a trade if it is the right one. Details: Selling an 89 Jetta, cluster says 75,xxx miles and there is a sticker in the door that says the cluster replaced in 1998 at the original 66,xxx miles.. probably when they replaced the motor or something. Its burgundy in color, 1.8 8v single cam motor, completely bone stock with an after market muffler. It has a 5 speed stick with a tight clutch, standard interior which is super clean, no rips or tears but a few small cig burns from p.o. Small bumper car, fat trim in good shape, and fender flares. I´ve owned this car since september and had done a bunch to it. Clean title, 2012 tags till December. This is probably the most reliable car i have ever owned and i am being completely honest. If you are mechanically inclined and take care of this car, you´ll come to realize that it is a super good little car no matter how good or bad it looks. Mk2 jettas are phenominal in the snow and make an excellent winter car. The heater blows fireballs once warmed up and gets damn near 40 mpg. Digifant! not cis. Battery is a size 26.-Mk3 Jetta/Golf Orlando Wheels w/ Nokian Hakkapellita Studless Snowtires, do amazing in the snow, look exactly like iPikes-Newer front brake pads-Re-Packed rear wheel bearings-Newer single inlet dual outlet muffler with resonator delete-Black painted fron VW grille emblem-Brand new headlight bulbs-A few others, can´t name all of it off the top of my head.The Cons- -Was previously hit in the front pass. fender and door, so itll need a core support, headlight and bumper cover to be back in its prime. -Small collision in rear drivers quarter panel, fixed but bondo is chipped off and has rust in the body. Then hit again, almost back to being straight again but needs paint.-Rear pass. door (i think, may be front) was keyed it looks like-Grille doesnt fit right, due to being hit-Needs an alignment-Front pass shock is blown-Pass. headlight is teaked due to bad core support, still good lighting at night though-Front driver´s side door moulding isnt on, but i just got some new female grommets so it should go right back in. i DO have the moulding.-Paint is rough, looks like a bazillion little scratches but the clear is just faded and cracking. -Few things here and there, but nothing that isn´t fixable by any means.This car is my daily driver every single day and have put over 4,000 miles since owned and it hasn´t let me down one time. This car will last me 2 weeks on one full tank (92-93 octane), and i drive about 1000 miles a month. It has the potential to be a fantastic car year round, but will do just fine as is for a winter beater. I love this car to death but i have other cars i can drive and it belongs to someone that can take car of it as good as i would. Will sell, but no price tag yet.
