Details: I have a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle 1.8 Liter Turbo for sale. I´m asking $4,800 for it, but will negotiate. The mileage is currently at 108,758. The beetle runs great, and has great gas mileage. The only thing that needs to be done is that it needs a new battery (The cold weather didn´t help). The mileage will not change unless someone comes to test drive it. I have all paperwork from the most current oil changes, to when I took it to the shop for all new belts, hoses, and fluids. There were a few recalls on his model, so I have the paperwork for the new parts that were replaced because of the recall. The interior has the obvious wear and tear, from being from owner to owner from the last 10-11 years. Leather seats, that have heated controls (great in the winter time!) Few exterior damage, front bumper and hood have some minor damage, from a truck tailgate backing into it. The back bumper has a scratch on it also. It has a pop up spoiler, that is down when in park, and comes up when driving. I love this car, the only reason why I´m having to sell it is because I cannot keep up with the payments I have on it anymore. I want to find it a great home. Details: I posted this awhile back and had an interested buyer that backed out on me. Up for sale is a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle 1600cc motor, 4-speed manual. It does run and drive, recently replaced rubber fuel lines and filters, brand new brake master cylinder. It does have some issues, possible starter solenoid bad, I replaced the starter about 6 years ago, it does sputter a little when going down the street (hasn´t been driven until recently), steering wheel shakes between 30 and 45mph--I was told that a new steering stabilizer should correct that issue, it also sometimes grinds when shifting into 2nd gear. I do have the original front and rear bumpers. I was also told several years ago by a long-time Volkswagen mechanic that this is a rare Beetle (it has Super Beetle suspension and electrical systems but looks like a normal Beetle) I have not done a lot of research, but I did find that 1971 was the first year for the Super Beetle and the car was produced 06/1971. I don´t know much more about the car other than what is listed above, I do have a clean and clear title in hand.
