Details: This car is a rare find, and in it´s day it was a special edition car, and it is a project car. This car is a 1975 Volkswagen (La Grande) Super Beetle with fuel injection and a sunroof. It was a one year and one time only special edition car, it was also the first year for the beetle to have an upgraded on board computer, computerized Bosch L- Jetronic fuel injection,( boosting the fuel economy from 25 mpg to 33 mpg because of the introduction of unleaded gas to the fuel market) electric fuel pump, strut suspension, rack & pinion steering, single exhaust, larger glass area, larger and an increased amount of engine cooling vents, improvements in the rear end geometry, and a hardened alloy material for the engine, it was also the last year for the super beetle sedan. This car is all original, (remember, it is almost 38 years old) it has some rust, but is solid enough to be restored to it´s former glory. I bought the car to restore, but I do not have the time, money, tools, or needed skills to do it. This car is as is, and needs the fuel lines replaced, brakes replaced, a complete tune-up, and other minor repairs before it is safe to drive. Details: I have an 01 Volkswagen passat for sale. It is my daily driver. It has about 162000 miles but is reliable. It has not had any engine problems since i bought it in 2008 and as far as we know it didnt have any prior to that. I have always taken it to a Volkswagen specialist shop for all maintenance. It has working heat and AC, power windows and sunroof. Just had an oil change and tired rotation. The only cosmetic issues are a few small scratches on passenger side and a dime size rust spot on the hood ( see pics) other than that the only problems ive had is-the turn signals, which work, but wont stay on so you have to click them a couple times when turning-it needs an o2 sensor replaced. Both are easy fixes. ever had a major problem with it. Asking 3450 or best offer. The outside was painted a flat black before I got it as a base color until we decided what color to paint it. There are rust issues along the bottom edges and near the battery.
