It has rusting on the trunk and near the wheel wells, and the regulator is out on the passenger window so it won´t roll down. The body has 172,981 miles on and the engine has about 15,000 miles on it, the dealership I bought it from told me the previous owner put a new engine in it from another slightly newer Jetta. Mechanically, the car is perfect. It has a few minor cosmetics issues, there is a small amount of sun damage on the driver front panel, and a crack in the mirror casing on the driver side where someone opened their door too hard and hit it in a parking lot a few months ago, and there is 2 or 3 very small spots on the hood of rust that have been there since I bought the car in March. The interior is black and is perfect. It has a 6 disc cd changer in the trunk, hot year and cold air, engine light is on due to an O2 sensor and the temp gauge sensor just went out, but I took it to meineke and they said its no big deal and can easily be repaired and is pretty cheap to replace. KBB value of the car is $4,500. Gets great gas mileage, I drove it to Orlando when gas was over $4 a gallon and it only cost me $160 to get there. It´s a great car, we just need something bigger. Details: Trying to sell my 2002 volkswagen passat. this is an amazing car. I really hate t get ride of it. but school comes first. The good:Heated seatsmoon roofsolid 5 speed transmissionleather seatsgreat on gasv6 front wheel drivetiming belt recently replaced so no worry about replacing thatnew water pumpnew fan belt4 door13xxxxx milespremium monsoon sound systemlots of roomthe bad:has a hole in the exhaust. this causes the oxygen sensor to read wrong and cause the check engine light to go on.need new front tires. (have an extra to go on the car. only has about 500 miles on it.but will need a 4th)has some dings from some hail. barley noticeable.this is the same base as the audi a4 just with a different body. but a lot of the parts etc.... are interchangeable. so this is your chance to get an audi buft not have to pay the tickets that can come with having the audi tag. not in a hurry to sell but would like to sell. asking 5000 but make an offer an we can talk(willing to negotiate) or if you would like more pictures. not looking to trade unless you have 3800 and a wrangler. feel free to email me or text.
