The a/c may also need to be charged. blower and compressor do come on but the air isnt very cold. There is some rust on the driver side rocker panel and a hole on the strut tower. Details: This is a 1976 VW Super Beetle convertible for sale. It has a 1600 dual port engine with dual carbs. It fires right up and will run about 65mph on the highway. The Beetle is currently registered and insured in PA. It has a clean title. It is not registered as an antique. This Beetle was completely stripped, sanded, and repainted in 2009. A new front windshield seal was installed. All windows are operable and in tact. The convertible top is believed to be original, with only one small tear. It also has the glass rear window. The wiring was completely removed and reinstalled. The front seats are also original with no tears. The passanger seat does not flip forward; the driver seat does. The interior panels have been redone with fabric. The rear bench seat is in good shape with no tears. The carpeting is new. The stereo is a JVC with four Sony speakers. The Beetle has four new tires and a good spare tire. The front turn signals and headlight rings are new. There is some rust forming on the front driver fender, as well as under the doors. It is not major but should be sanded and painted. The rear passenger fender has a small hole in it that was never repaired. The chrome has chipped off on some parts of the front and rear bumpers. The speedometer cable has stopped working. She drives straight and solid with no hickups. It however does have abs light, air bag light, check engine light. Yes, It is bc of the common mk4 problems but no symptons of any problems.148K on the clock but has a fresh clutch with strong shifting and a good turbo Reflex silver with black cloth interior She´s all stock minus B&M short shifter and Magnaflow exhaust. That means its not a beat up car, drives great and has plenty of life left. I´ve got tons of extras for it (sound system,rack,bra,wheels,skirts,etc.) Some of the typical mk4 flaws like glove box/arm rest/cup holder and also has minor drivers side damage which you can kind of see. Car is now officially for sale so give me your best offer. The PO had new axles/brake pads installed before the new clutch went in. I also just replaced control arms/ball joints/tie rods on both sides. Details: I have a 1995 VR6 Cabrio that has a 1999 engine put in two years ago. It is 5 speed manual. The body of the car as 172,xxx miles on it, but the motor being that it is newer has less. Not sure the certain amount of miles. The car had a new paint job about three years ago, has a few scratches and little dents being that its old. Ive never had an accident in this car either. It was inspected September, 2011 with no problems. It recently has had a new fuel pump, new tires put on in the last year, and new brakes done in the last month. The color is a really dark green, has black wheels with low profile tires on them. I have a spare set of wheels for the winter that have decent tires on them. I am getting the oiled changed in the next couple weeks. The only things wrong with the car is the driver side door does not have a key hole, that doesn´t mean you can just break into the car it still locks and everything, the glove box was broken when bought and stays together by velcro. The back right hand window does not go down but all other windows work with no problem. The top goes down and back up manually but it works just perfect. This car is my baby and being that I´m a girl it hasn´t been beaten to death...I honestly hate getting rid of the car but I am moving to the beach for the summer and need a car better on gas. She gets around 25 miles to the gallon, and I have also put premium gas in her. Details: 2001 Passat GLS SedanFor sale is my 2001 Volkswagen Passat (Colorado Red exterior with Black Velour interior). This car has taken me all over the country, in good fashion too. I would love to keep this car, but I am marrying the girl of my dreams from Norway. Alas, I am ´jumping the pond´ to be with my fiancé. My loss is your gain. In an ideal world, I would ship this car to Norway. Unfortunately for me, a 70-pound suitcase costs $800.00 to ship, so shipping a car is most definitely unrealistic.***PLEASE keep in mind that this car is from 2001. The Passat was recently in the shop and I told the mechanic to tune EVRYTHING up. The car does have some slight wear on the outside (it is a 2001!), but I have always taken GREAT care of it. . The ´check engine´ light remains on while driving, but has done so for years and my mechanic says it is not worth the purchase of Volkswagens ´code´ to turn it off. I just replaced the FRONT tires and the battery. ´The Passat does not need much of anything and has taken me all over Pennsylvania and the East coast. One of the most pleasant aspects of the car is the automatic sunroof, ideal to use on a bright sky blue day. This car is highly recommended to commuters and college students.
