Details: I´m looking to sell my 1996 Volkswagen Passat GLX. I´m selling this car because I want to get something with AWD. When I bought the car, it was a real project car, and even though I like it, I just can´t afford the upkeep. I´ve put in a fair amount of money into it already, and It´ll be sad to see it go, but this will be a great car for a Volkswagen enthusiast or even someone just looking for a great commuter car.The car has about 109,000+ miles on it, clean title, automatic transmission, and comes with power windows, power locks, sunroof, and a clean interior. This Passat has a VR6 engine, with a solid transmission, and the gas mileage has been great for me (I fill up once every week and a half). The car has a new passenger side front wheel bearing, 2 new rear brake rotors & 1 caliper, and 2 new rear tires (front tires are in good condition), new fog lights, and a few wires were replaced. The oil was changed on 07/03 and a wheel alignment was done 07/07. The car is currently not inspected. The car also comes with an aftermarket stereo and a full size spare. There are a few things that I would like to mention though. The driver´s side window does get stuck when you try to roll it back up (after it´s been down), the passenger side door sticks and has a hard time latching shut during cold weather, a slight coolant leak, and the car has a few scratches on it (which were on there when I purchased the vehicle.) Asking price is $2,500 OBO, but I am interested in trading it for a Subaru Legacy or Outback, or a Honda.
