Details: Selling my pride and joy I´ve had for five years now. It´s an Air-cooled Vanagon Westfalia, I have spent a lot of time and money restoring this Westy. However, I need to sell it bad, I´ve reduce the price once again, now to 2,000 obo. It runs really rough right now with 186,000 miles on it. I think it just needs a valve job to get it running reliably, I wish I had the know-how to do it myself. It would likely have to be towed to it´s destination, due to the rough engine. It´s not registered as an operational vehicle to avoid the DMV registration fees. There is also a problem with the ignition, the key wont turn over all the way. I don´t think it´s a hard fix, I just haven´t given it much time, however it does start. It will likely have to be towed to it´s new home. It has a salvaged title, but from what the previous owner told me is that it was just an abandoned car (left unclaimed in an impound lot) after the owner was incarcerated, there are zero signs of any accidents or anything like that. The paint is in pretty good condition considering it´s a 30 year old vehicle. The exterior and interior have been very well kept over the years.Here are some of the things I have done to her:-New deep cycle battery-Brand new Hankook RA08 tires (including spare)-All new seals around the pop-top fro GoWesty.com-New hoses for engine-Brand new custom carpet-I detailed the entire Westy just a few months ago-The last owner replace the fuel lines (about five or six years ago)-New valve cover gaskets in ´09-New CD Player and speakers-New clutch a under 1000 miles ago -Tow package You have to see this car to get an idea of the great condition, it´s located in Chico, CA. It just needs a few things to become a daily driver like she was for me.
