Details: For sale is my 57 oval window beetle. Clear TITLE in hand. The car has 46k original miles and has not been on the road for over 30 years. About 15 years ago, the previous owner began dismantling and stripping the car for restoration. It has all 5 original date coded wheels showing 4/57 on all 5. It has all original German ribbed fenders, 4 tab hood, doors, Snowflake Taillights and W-Decklid. It also has the original seats with original vinyl. Dvr seat bottom vinyl is gone. This car is a great candidate to restoreas these oval window bugs are worth good money when done. The original color is Diamond Green with green vinyl interior. It is an absolute stunning and rare color combo. Dash and inside doors still has the original paint. Needs heater channels, rear floors, and rear wheel well repair. Most panels included in the sale. The only bad is that someone had installed a later gas tank so they could have a gas gauge and cut the mounting portion of the body where the tank goes. Not a hard fix but I need to mention it. Has the original tank though now. Engine is a 1200 from a 1959 and has an even 120 psi compression on all cyls. Not uncommon for the engines to not be original in a beetle this old. This bug is worth restoring! It is worth more in parts than what I want to get for it. The original German metal alone is worth it. Contact me anytime.
