Details: Project 59 Beetle sedan with Semaphores I would classify this sedan between Poor and Fair condition. Will make a great project for someone willing to put in the effort. Solid and straight body, except for some rust on the exterior of the lower left hinge pillar and a dent in two fenders. The seams in the front and rear of the body are nice and smooth, obviously no accidents (but the obvious fender benders). Heater channels are in good shape, except for one spot. The engine is shot, the pans are completely rusted through and should be replaced, but otherwise no significant rust on the chassis. Fenders are all original. The interior is in a similar state and will also need thorough attention. The semaphores are in good shape (1 lens has a crack in it) -- lenses look good. All glass in place, except for rear window. I have the rear glass, just not installed. I was planning on doing a full restoration 18 months ago; took the body off of the chassis, removed the gas tank, seats, glove box, battery, front bumper and turn signals (all removed parts will go with the car) but couldn´t find the time to keep going. Rather than letting it sit in storage, I would rather sell it to capable hands willing to get this beauty back on the road. I´ve kept the body and chassis (matching numbers) covered and protected from the elements. The body is off the chassis, so you can see exactly what you get. I have a clear title for this car.
