Details: 1999 Silver Volkswagen Jetta. It is an automatic. There is very little rust on the body but a few minor dents. The car has 165,000 miles and runs well but needs work to be inspected (Got an estimate of $800 at a garage but it´s mostly labor). For inspection it needs a new outer tie rod, an exhaust manifold gasket (which I have), and the e-break cable is stuck with the break off. The check engine light is on as well (camshaft position sensor, coolant temp sensor). The electronic locks and alarm don´t always function right (I was told it was due to a faulty door latch sensor) but it is easy to work around. Also I spilled battery acid on the front passenger seat a few years ago and it ate some of the stitching. Reply to this post with questions or to get my number so we can talk. $1300 OBO. The car has Bilstein coilovers worth about $1200 on it making it ride like a dream. It also both front and back strut tower braces and lower A-Frame brace from Eurosport. I recently added a full cold air intake tube and filter from Euro sport. I also have a four-piston front break setup from RPI with Wilwood calibers not installed. The car comes with 15-inch alloy wheels and a set of steel wheels with new tires. Included with the car is a Corbeau with mounting bracket and 4-point harness. I have both the original cloth seats in addition to a full set of heated leather seats. I also will throw in like new 33-gallon air compressor, air hose set up for the compressor, 4 jackstands and jack. Its a 1991 vw gti so MK2 generation with a 2.0 four cylinder 16valve engine. The engine is semi disassembled like I said it was my project, but was running well before I started to under go the rebuild. I was planning on converting it to run standalone engine management and some other modifications. I havent gotten to far the engine is still in the car still assembled mainly just started pulling out accessories and some wiring.
