The top is in excellent condition since it is in the garage out of the sun when it´s not in use. Tires are good. Details: This is a really great car. The only reason I´m selling it is that my husband is being stationed overseas and we had to pick a vehicle one vehicle to take with us. It has a little under 157,000 miles. The engine has less, though I don´t know how much less. It reliably takes me on out-of-state road trips and on my daily commute to school.It´s a 5 speed and gets great gas mileage.It is turboed, has leather seats, heated front seats, a moon roof, cruise control, stereo controls on the steering wheel (not currently hooked up), brand new tires, heated mirrors, air conditioning and heat, power windows and locks, tilt steering wheel, am/fm stereo and cd player. The back seats fold down, which is great for travel.It is in ´good´ condition, by KBB standards which places it at $3400. Even at ´fair´ it is worth $2750.Below is more information about what has been replaced recently and what needs to be done. Brand new (replaced within the last year):- Clutch, flywheel, master cylinder, and slave cylinder- windshield and wipers- New tires only a couple months old - Coil springs- Bearings- Mass air flow sensor- Fuel regulatorDamage/Needs fixed:Damage to front bumper (may need replaced to pass inspection)Superficial damage to read bumperLight scratches to paintRipping on seams on front seatsNeeds a new front balljointNeeds a new passenger mirror (heated mirrors, about $30)The hatch sticksThe check engine light is on and has been since I bought it 3 years ago. Details: This is a 2003 Volkswagen Golf 2.0.Silver.lot value of 19,000Currently I am a student trying to find money to purchase a vehicle. This vehicle needs work that i dont have the time or knowledge to fix.It has a few problem and just matenience that needs to be done. It was my stepfathers vehicle that he drove to bethesda everyday, so mainly has highway miles and the oil was changed very often.190k miles on it. Needs oil pan replaced, and passenger side wheel bearing replaced. Also, it needs the usual matienance done after 100k miles such as changing timing belt, tensioner and serpintine belt. won´t go into 1st gear but mechanic said that the shifter linkage just needs adjustment. Its a five speed, so it can start in2nd gear. Overall if done by yourself, you can probably fix for about $500-$600. I just dont have the tools or knowledge to fix it, solid investment if fixed.dent in the front passenger fender from a deer hitting it.
