Details: This is a 2 owner car that I bought for a daily driver 9 months ago from a local VW dealership. It a package 2 car, Bi-Xenon headlights grey leather interior, sun roof, satilite radio. I have been told by a few people that this color and interior combo is somewhat of a rarity. Not that it adds value but, it is nice to knowyou won´t see many others with the same setup.The first owner did all of the scheduled maint which he had stamped in the owners manual. It did come with a few small dents in the drivers door (will show in the pics), not thru the paint so there is no rust issues. The front bumper has a bunch of stone chips due to the highway driving I do, and what the previous owner did.The front/rear pads and rotors were replaced at 86K, it currently has 102,541. I´ve done3 oil changes since buying it, done each 5-6K. PCV and pass side xenon bulb was replaced at 95K.Car is bone stock and has not been molested by me or the previous owner, all I do is drive it toand from work each day nothing more nothing less. The interior is in great condition, all of the soft touch stuff is in tact and not scratched up, no stains on the carpet, leather is perfect. Interior 9 of 10. Exterior is 8 of 10. Details: Hello, I am selling my 01 Jetta with a tan cloth interior. It is a Wolfsburg packaged 1.8T with a 5 speed trans with 112,xxx. It has a new turbocharger, rebuild trans (synchros for 1st & 3rd were going out), good tires, good brakes, new alternator, and a new battery and inspected until 12/13. Coil over plugs (or coil packs if you prefer) where done by VW in Aug of 2011. Curently all it NEEDS is a AC compressor, which I HAVE found and will replace it for the buywe. If you want the AC charged, I will do that for you, but I would need a little extra to do so. There are H&R Race springs which lower the car about 2 inches all around, a aftermarket front mount intercooler, and a performance chip that increase the boost and horsepower. Details: 1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, 124,000 miles Car originally from Georgia and has a nice history/story of ownership that comes with the car. Decent repaint by a previous owner that is very presentable at shows and cruises but does have some bubbles and other ´shortcuts´ that show but body is solid and no rust at all. Very nice original seats with no rips or tears, previous owner replaced the headliner and carpet at some point and both still look great. Runs great and can be driven anywhere. Comes with PA ´antique´ license plate that I went through the process of getting registered for the car and as such can be transferred with vehicle to save you the process and effort. Previous owner had dry stored the car in a storage facility for nearly 10 years and since I have owned the car I have put a lot of elbow grease into it to make it lokk and run better and to my expectations (including putting the front VW badge back in the right place at the front edge of the hood and not on the front nose of the car like in the pictures) plus had mechanicals looked over by a VW garage which then installed a brand new fuel pump as well performed as a full tune up (adjust valves, replace plugs, change oil, new gaskets, etc.). As a vintage VW enthusiast, I had always wanted a Karmann Ghia and I purchased it with intention to drive it to events and car shows and for joy rides until I could re-do the paint job at some point to my higher standards and expectations. However now I need to free up some money to complete other VW restorations I already have underway. I do not need to sell the car but would like to see somebody else enjoy the car more than I get to at the present time while on the other hand free up some money for me to apply to my other VW resto projects. So I am ´testing the waters´ to see if anybody is interested in the car and is willing to strike a deal to purchase it. As you may be aware, these cars are not very common and especially in this part of the country. Gets a lot of looks, points, and inquiries when driving or sitting. To get a good idea of the values of these cars in various conditions, visit www.thesamba.com and search the Karmann Ghia classifieds there. I am sure that you will discover my asking price is fair for the condition of this car and that it is a driver that is ready to go.
