The engine has been maintained its whole life and has had mobile1 full synthetic oil since it rolled of the lot. It had been serviced at MAG dealership. The interior is almost flawless. I say almost because the fabric is starting to come off the door panels.(common Volkswagen issue.) New tires with only a little driving on them! 85-90% left. The transmission is a five speed and it shifts wonderfully! I have never had a problem with it and it´s never been ran hard. The sound system is all OEM and sounds great! Great Gas milage 28mpg in town 30mpg highway New this yearstruts front rear KYBTires 60k warranty, like new spare mounted on full size wheelcat back exhaustrotors/padsdrums/shoes/e-brake cables@155,000 miles the transmission was rebuilt with a new first gear slider and related bearings and seals Reverse goes out in these manuals all the time so You don´t have to worry about it on this car. Clutch was replaced at the same time and a short shift kit installed. While the car was down A custom interior was installed. Color was changed to black with velour charcoal inserts. VW insignias embroidered into the front seats. Nothing outlandish or distasteful, it was intended to look stock. These green cars came with white interiors so vw´s mistake has been corrected. This could use a paint job and a top to be perfect but it´s a solid driver as is. I would trust it to go anywhere as it sits. the car has @173,000 on it now but that´ll keep climbing as we´re still driving it regularly.It´s been driven by my wife, maintained by me, an ase auto/heavy truck double master. There is some body wear, but thats normal. If Pump is turned down it will get 50mpg. I drive this truck everyday with no problems. It starts right up every time. Iv replaced the glow plugs, fuel filter, fuel lines, and some other small things on it here and there. Changed oil recently with Rottela 15w-40 and lucas. Runs great i have no issues with it. Interrior is mostly there, has few tears on drivers seat. I have intake, and exhaust manifolds so it can be turboed. Trades are open or $3000 cash o.b.o. I know what the truck is worth and they are getting hard to come by, so no lowballers but shoot me an offer and i may just take it. Details: I have a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLI. It has a 2.8 L V6 engine that pushes out 200hp. It is a 6 speed manual transmission. It is a dark blue with light grey leather interior. The leather is still in good condition, and the heated seats still work. There are no engine lights on (typical for Volkswagen). I have put new tires, replaced the plugs and coils just recently. The front axle started creaking and I got the entire thing replaced. There are a few scratches in the clear coat as well as a couple pealing spots, but you have to remember it is a 2003. There is no rust on the body or welds and has been very well kept. I currently get on average 26mpg ( here in Columbus). I have gotten 31mpg on road trips on the highway. It has roughly 120,000 miles and the motor has had no problems. Please contact me if you want more photos or would like to see it. Do not low ball me, I will laugh with no consideration. NOW THE BAD.. speedo cable broke, fan is on a toggle and it dont have inside door handles and no power steering (which i like it with out anyway)...
